Affil connector privacy notice

This notice explains how Affil connectors use data when you connect Affil to an AI service such as ChatGPT or Claude. It supplements Affil's privacy policy at https://www.iubenda.com/privacy-policy/78234120.

Connecting your account

Affil uses PropelAuth to sign you in and authorize the connection. Authentication information and access tokens let Affil verify your account and restrict requests to the organizations and records you can access. Do not paste passwords or access tokens into a chat.

Information returned to the AI service

In response to your requests, the connector can return product references and promotional terms, compliance guidelines, mockup titles and statuses, version information, review feedback and replies, reviewer display names, and aggregate link clicks and conversions. Returned records can include document and organization identifiers, dates, and links back to Affil. Feedback or documents may contain personal information that your organization placed in them.

Affil uses these records to answer your request and identify the source material. The connector does not provide credit reports, credit card application decisions, or individual consumers' click histories.

Sharing and your choices

The AI service receives the records returned by the connector. Its own terms, privacy policy, and your account settings govern how it uses and retains those records. Only connect an account and request information that your organization permits you to share with that service.

You can disconnect Affil in the AI service's settings to stop new access through that connection. Disconnecting does not delete existing chats or copies of information already returned. Use the AI service's controls to manage those records.

Affil's main privacy policy describes its broader data practices and privacy rights. Contact john@affil.ai with privacy questions or requests.
